Dr. Siggers is the owner and Chief of Staff at Best Care Pet Hospital. He opened Best Care in 1995 as the managing veterinarian and has owned it since 1996. He is born and raised in Omaha, graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor Degree in Biology, then obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 1993. His main interests include canine and feline internal medicine, avian and exotic care. Dr. Siggers is one of the few veterinarians in Omaha that cares for birds and exotics.
In his free time, he enjoys boating, lake activities, sports (especially football) and spending time with his wife, Valerie, his son, Tristan, and his daughter, Anna. Dr. Siggers has two dogs: Ed and Schatzie

Dr. Liz recently joined us from Iowa State University where she successfully received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Her undergraduate studies were completed at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Liz has actually been with us at Best Care Pet Hospital since her high school days, where she started off shadowing and assisting in kennel care, and worked her way up to assisting in all areas of the hospital. Throughout her high school, undergraduate and graduate studies, she'd return to Best Care on her school breaks to shadow, assist and work. Dr. Liz is currently part-time, and her focus is on general preventative care for cats and dogs, dermatology and surgery.
Dr. Liz is married to Jim, and has two dogs, both Golden Retrievers, Anna and Buddy. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and going for walks with her dogs.
Tara has been with Best Care since 2000, and is the Office Manager/Receptionist, and assits throughout the hospital. She has thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the clients and hearing stories about their beloved pets.
She & her husband Mike own & run an Irish Pub, enjoy spending time with family and taking Disney trips. Tara has three cats: Kasi, Osborne & Mickey.
Cristina has been a technician here since 1996. Cris has a thorough knowledge of animal care and has honed her skills throughout her years here at Best Care. Taking a short time off after having her first child, Gracie, she returned to work part-time.
She has added to her family with Cody, and also has 3 cats (Salem, Gabby & Cassie), 2 dogs (Pauli & Pete) and 2 horses (Jake & Annie).
Liz is one of our technicians. She has been with Best Care since early 2011, and has recently graduated from Iowa Western. Liz brings a warm touch to all the pets she cares for, and helps staff in all areas of the hospital.
She has one dog, Cady Pickles, and two cats, Miss Stache and Hamilton (Hammy).
Hannah is our Kennel Attendant/Vet Assistant and has been a part of our team since fall of 2010. In her time here at Best Care she has learned about proper animal care and is currently learning to assist in the lab and with surgery.
In her free time Hannah enjoys church activities, volunteering and reading/writing. Hannah has two cats and one dog: Ruth, Godzilla and Baby.
